Jonesboro Arkansas could be classified as a college town nestled in the northeast part of the state, but it could also be defined as one of the most giving communities. This community has seen much devastation this year, but one thing that has held strong is that we care deeply and give endlessly. During this holiday season it is important for us to remember that “tis the season” doesn’t just mean that Christmas is near, but that it is the season of giving. While there are people in need year round, there is no greater time to give than the holiday season. Whether you’re buying gifts for a family in need or volunteering at your local soup kitchen, giving back during the holiday season is incredibly impactful. Although it may be our most wonderful time of the year, there are people in our own community who need assistance. Here are our favorite local charities who could use your help this holiday season.
